1. The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God

  • 2 Timothy 3:16 (Whole Chapter) KJV "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

2.The triune nature of God - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • Genesis 1:26 (whole chapter) AMP "God said, Let us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after our likeness and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and the [tame beasts, and over of the earth, and over everything that creeps on the earth.

  • Colossians 2:10 (Whole Chapter) AMP "And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead-Father, Son and Holy—and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].”

3.  All have sinned and come short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation

  • Romans 3:32 (Whole Chapter) “For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God.”

  • Romans 5:12 (Whole Chapter) “Wherefore, as by one man sine entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for all have sinned.” 

4. Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men

  • John 14:6 (Whole Chapter) “Jesus saith unto him. I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

  • Acts 4:12 (Whole Chapter) “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name in heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” 

5. The in-filling of the Holy Spirit is an experience subsequent to salvation and that it is the will of God that all be filled.

  • Acts 2:2,4 (Whole Chapter) “2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 4And they were filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

  • Acts 19:2 (Whole Chapter) “Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, ‘We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.” 

6. Healing is provided in the redemeptive work of Christ and is available to every believer

  • Isaiah 53:5 (Whole Chapter) “But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

  • Matthew 8:16-17 (Whole Chapter) “When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” 

7. The church consists of all those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior

  • 1 Corinthians 1:2 (Whole Chapter) “Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:”

  • Ephesians 1:22-23 (Whole Chapter) “And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.” 

8. There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust

  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16 (Whole Chapter) “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:”

  • Acts 24:15 (Whole Chapter) “And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.” 

9. The personal, visible, imminent return of Jesus Christ

  • 1 Timothy 6:14 (Whole Chapter) “That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:”

  • 2 Timothy 1:10 (Whole Chapter) “But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:” 

10. Water Baptism

  • Acts 2:38 (Whole Chapter) “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

  • Acts 2:41 (Whole Chapter) “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.” 

11. The observance of the Lord's Supper

  • Matthew 26:26 (Whole Chapter) “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.”

  • 1 Corinthians 11:20, 24 (Whole Chapter) “20 When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper. 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.”
